We seek to engage, empower, and inspire Londoners through basketball, fostering a vibrant and inclusive basketball community to create a thriving and united City. We are dedicated to supporting youth development, promoting employment prospects, and advancing the values of teamwork, resilience, and discipline. By providing opportunities on and off the court, in particular cultivating a pathway for all aspiring players, we aim to enable an environment where every person can thrive while elevating the profile of basketball in London and beyond.
We aim - To establish the London Lions Foundation as a beacon of international basketball excellence. It is renowned for its commitment to nurturing talent, promoting diversity, and fostering a strong sense of community.
We envision - A future where basketball is a catalyst for positive change, where individuals of all backgrounds have access to opportunities for engagement, personal growth, skill development, and leadership. Through our initiatives, we aim to create a vibrant basketball culture in London, cultivating a pipeline of exceptional athletes, coaches, and referees. Talent developed in the communities of London, playing at an international level.

The London Lions Foundation has launched today at the Copper Box Arena in East London, designed with the ambition of fostering greater access to basketball for communities in the capital facing the highest levels of deprivation.
Serving as the first of its kind, the Foundation will provide a series of community-supported programmes and projects – ranging from court renovations and summer camps to providing exit routes to elite player and coaching development pathways. All programmes are aimed at strengthening local communities, serving as a beacon of international basketball excellence.
